Brenda
Hoffman is known as the Canine Nanny. She’s been called “the Mary Poppins” of dog training. Clients
have stated that she is like the person in the “Nanny 911” and “Supernanny.”
She not only helps fix the relationship of the person or people involved
with the dog but she helps them to work as a cohesive unit with their
beloved pet.
Brenda has been involved with dogs since she was a young child. She admits
to making a myriad of mistakes along the way but she now recognizes what
great learning experiences they have become. She has a keen insight into
dogs and their behavior and she helps people understand their dogs in simple
terms.
She
has been walking dogs for over 10 years and she has been teaching people to
teach their pets for 12 years. She is constantly striving to learn new
things to help forge the human-animal bond. Things like animal
communication, homeopathy, nutrition, pet friendly products and anything
that will help to enhance and expand the relationship.
She
uses a sense of humour and compassion for her human and animal clients. She
shows parents and children how to be safe around their dogs.
She
taught group classes for 6 years for Toronto Parks and Recreation. Today
Brenda conducts her own private classes in Thornhill and North York.
She
supports animal rescue and volunteers with the Toronto Wildlife Centre.
